Clinical Course and Impact of Breaks in Therapy for Children With Relapsed/Refractory Solid Tumors
ABSTRACT Introduction Pediatric relapsed or refractory (R/R) solid tumors carry a dismal prognosis, and postrelapse patient experiences are not well described. We present postrelapse outcomes, including number of R/R events and subsequent therapy regimens.

Discriminator aided phase lock acquisition for suppressed carrier signals [PDF]
A discriminator aided technique for acquisition of phase lock to a suppressed carrier signal utilizes a Costas loop which is initially operated open loop and control voltage for its VCXO is derived from a phase detector that compares the VCXO to a ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Adult‐onset Still's disease (AOSD) complicated by macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) carries substantial mortality. The role of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) remains uncertain. Methods We retrospectively analyzed patients with AOSD‐MAS treated with TPE at a single‐center.

Improving the day-boundary discontinuities in BDS-3 carrier-phase time and frequency transfer
The BeiDou global satellite navigation system (BDS) is an important tool for precise remote time and frequency transfer. The current day-boundary discontinuity in the data process of the BDS-3 carrier phase (CP) time transfer limits the exploitation of ...

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Phase Noise Modeling of Opto-Mechanical Oscillators [PDF]
We build upon and derive a precise far from carrier phase noise model for radiation pressure driven opto-mechanical oscillators and show that calculations based on our model accurately match published phase noise data for such oscillators.
