Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Optimized DSP Framework for 112 Gb/s PM-QPSK Systems with Benchmarking and Complexity–Performance Trade-Off Analysis

open access: yesEng
In order to enhance the performance of 112 Gb/s polarization-multiplexed quadrature phase-shift keying (PM-QPSK) coherent optical receivers, a novel digital signal processing (DSP) framework is presented in this study.

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Analysis of signal processing techniques for optical 112 Gb/s DP-QPSK receivers with experimental data

open access: yesJournal of Microwaves, Optoelectronics and Electromagnetic Applications
This paper evaluates several signal processing techniques for optical dual-polarization quadrature phase-shift keying (DP-QPSK) coherent receivers, using offline post-processing of experimental data.

Laser Phase Noise Effects and Joint Carrier Phase Recovery in Coherent Optical Transmissions With Digital Subcarrier Multiplexing

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
In this paper, we numerically and experimentally investigate the impairments related to laser phase noise in coherent digital subcarrier multiplexing (SCM) systems.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

High-speed algorithm for carrier frequency recovery and frame synchronization in QPSK-modulated modems

open access: yesTekhnologiya i Konstruirovanie v Elektronnoi Apparature, 2018
When demodulating signals in communication systems with QPSK modulation operating in the pulsed mode, the following problems arise: rapid elimination of the reference oscillator phase ambiguity and ensuring reliable frame synchronization for a given ...
