Venomous Marine Fish: Evolution of the Venoms. Chondrichthyes (Cartilaginous Fish)
The authors discuss the presence of the toxins and venoms in fish, a common recourse of these animals used for their defense, and cite the most important families of marine and freshwater venomous fish with commentaries about the mechanisms of inoculation, biochemical characteristics of the venoms, and clinical/therapeutical aspects of the ...

Scalable manufacturing challenges and limited potency remain two of the most intransigent issues limiting clinical translation of EV therapeutics. Mechanical cues can induce phenotypic changes and increased vesiculation in EV source cells without the use of extraneous reagents, chemicals, and/or cargo, thereby potentially drastically improving the ...

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

Direct Laser Writing of Magnetic Micro Actuators With a Stimulus‐Responsive Compliant Hinge
This study presents a versatile modular design strategy for adaptive 3D microactuators. Using two‐photon‐induced C,H insertion reactions within solid polymer layers, chemically distinct hinge and stimulus responsive materials are patterned in one step. The hinge's properties enable tunable motion, mechanical control, and reconfigurable actuation across
