Humidity Ramp Protocols Systematically Underestimate Human Heat Tolerance Limits
Short dwell times in humidity‐ramp protocols (Δt/τ≪1 ${\Delta }t/\tau \mathit{\ll }1$) prevent human core temperature from reaching equilibrium, causing premature inflection points and systematic underestimation of critical environmental limits by ∼3°C–4°C.

ABSTRACT This study investigated the immunomodulatory effects of PFOS and glyphosate (GLY), both individually and in combination, on the whole blood of three ruminant species (cow, goats, and sheep) exposed ex vivo to environmentally relevant concentrations. The research focused on key biomarkers of oxidative stress (MDA), inflammation (myeloperoxidase

The Design and Research a New Kind Multistage Condensation Filtration Disengaging Gear
The structure of automatic cascade refrigeration system is simple, and the operation is reliable. Since the non-azeotropic mixed refrigerants are used, whether the condensing separation is complete or not will directly affect the cooling efficiency.

Resource Availability Modulates Effects of Fluorine Free Firefighting Foams
ABSTRACT Fluorine‐free foam (F3) alternatives that lack per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are rapidly being adopted for firefighting operations and will be entering ecosystems. Despite this, little is known about their impact on freshwater communities.

Boosting Embodied Visual Localisation Through Multi‐Granular Semantics and Multi‐Robot Consensus
ABSTRACT Achieving high accuracy and synergy remains extremely difficult for multi‐robot embodied visual localisation, which suffers from persistent real‐world challenges such as viewpoint ambiguity, appearance variation and dynamic occlusion. Conventional optimisation‐based methods often lead to incorrect feature matching without domain adaptation ...

Read the free Plain Language Summary for this article on the Journal blog. Abstract Physical trampling is a ubiquitous activity of walking vertebrates, but is poorly understood as a mechanism impacting biogeochemical cycling in soil. Lack of detailed knowledge of soil abiotic–biotic interactions underlying trampling effects, and the primary sources of ...
