Review of nutrition management of pediatric intestinal pseudo‐obstruction
Abstract Chronic intestinal pseudo‐obstruction (CIPO) is a rare, heterogeneous, and debilitating disorder characterized by profound intestinal dysmotility and severe nutrition challenges. Its presentation resembles that of mechanical bowel obstruction, but CIPO occurs in the absence of luminal obstruction.

Structural Insights Into the Function of Leishmania major Adenylosuccinate Lyase
ABSTRACT One of several intriguing aspects of kinetoplastid biochemistry is the complete dependence on host purines and purine recycling due to the lack of a de novo purine biosynthesis pathway. Adenylosuccinate lyase (ASL, EC 4.3.2.2) is a key enzyme in the purine synthesis pathway responsible for the conversion of adenylosuccinate into adenosine ...

Salivary biomarkers in sleep‐related disorders
Abstract The exploration of salivary biomarkers has emerged as a promising avenue in the diagnosis and management of sleep‐related disorders, such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), insomnia, and sleep deprivation. Saliva is a noninvasive biofluid that contains a wealth of biological markers, reflecting both local and systemic physiological changes ...

Reformation of casein particles from alkaline-disrupted casein micelles
In this study, the properties of casein particles reformed from alkaline disrupted casein micelles were studied. For this purpose, micelles were disrupted completely by increasing milk pH to 10·0, and subsequently reformed by decreasing milk pH to 6·6 ...
