Potency of mycotoxin binders on MDA level, expressions of caspase 9 and caspase 3 in the uterus of mice exposed to zearalenone [PDF]
This study examined effect of mycotoxin binder administered to female mice exposed to zearalenon on apoptosis incidence by observe at MDA, Caspase 9 and 3 levels in mice uterus.

CARRAGEENAN INDUCES CELL DEATH IN RATS BLOOD
Background. Because of its physical and chemical properties, carrageenan is fairly widely used. About 70 % of the carrageenan produced in the world is used in the food industry.

Most autophagic cell death studies lack evidence of causality
Of 104 studies claiming autophagic cell death (ACD), only 13 demonstrated both causality and exclusion of apoptosis to confirm true ACD. Most studies relied on correlation‐level data or measured autophagy in isolation, revealing pervasive methodological shortcomings.

Platelet microparticles contain active caspase 3
During storage, platelets undergo processes resembling apoptosis, including microparticle release, aminophospholipid exposure, and procaspase 3 processing. Recently, we showed that microparticles from endothelial cells contain caspase 3, one of the executioner enzymes of apoptosis.

The impact of Hnrnpl deficiency on transcriptional patterns of developing muscle cells
We performed nanopore whole‐transcriptome sequencing comparing RNA from Hnrnpl‐knockdown versus control C2C12 myoblasts to investigate the contributions of Hnrnpl to muscle development. Our results indicate that Hnrnpl regulates the expression of genes involved with Notch signaling and skeletal muscle, particularly splicing patterns of specific muscle ...

Representation of the suggested mode of action of lactoferrin (Lf) in nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) A549 cells. Lf induces activation of caspase‐3 by activating p53 and AChE leading to decreased ACh concentrations. In turn, ACh signaling leads to activation of VEGF and AKT and blocking of caspase‐3.

Abstract The gut microbiota plays a pivotal role in maintaining host metabolic homeostasis and overall physiological functions. Shenling Baizhu San (SLBZS), a time‐honored classical prescription for tonifying Qi, strengthening the spleen, removing dampness, and arresting diarrhea, has shown broad clinical efficacy in digestive disorders.

Local Pruning of Dendrites and Spines by Caspase-3-Dependent and Proteasome-Limited Mechanisms
Synapse loss occurs normally during development and pathologically during neurodegenerative disease. Long-term depression, a proposed physiological correlate of synapse elimination, requires caspase-3 and the mitochondrial pathway of apoptosis.
