The Dynamic Behavior of Protein Bubble in Casson Fluid
ASME 2010 7th International Symposium on Fluid-Structure Interactions, Flow-Sound Interactions, and Flow-Induced Vibration and Noise: Volume 3, Parts A and B, 2010A Casson model is selected to describe the flow behavior of blood. Considering the viscoelasticity of protein film, and the finite deformation of protein bubble under the action of a Casson fluid, a nonlinear equation describing the dynamic behavior for a single protein bubble in blood is developed.

Thermophysical Investigation of Unsteady Casson–Carreau Fluid
INAE Letters, 2019In addition to the non-Newtonian fluids (NNFs), thermophysical analysis of NNF–NNF is very useful for developing unsteady flow measurements. This work aims to provide a two dimensional (2-D) optimization problem consisting of thermal radiation, viscous dissipation, and inclined magnetic force based on the Buongiorno mathematical model. In this way, the

Casson Rheological Model In Drilling Fluid Mechanics
International Petroleum Exhibition and Technical Symposium, 1982Abstract The Casson rheological model gives a better description of the rheological characteristics of drilling fluids than the Bingham and power law models. In this paper, a method for experimental verification is given, relevant test results are reported, flow profiles in pipe and annulus are analysed and several ...

Physiological Transportation of Casson Fluid in a Plumb Duct
Communications in Theoretical Physics, 2015Abstract This paper is devoted to a study of the peristaltic motion of a Casson fluid of a non-Newtonian fluid accompanied in a horizontal tube. To characterize the non-Newtonian fluid behavior, we have considered the Casson fluid model.

Numerical solution of a casson fluid flow in the entrance of annular tubes
Applied Scientific Research, 1975The solution of the momentum equation for a Casson fluid flowing in the entrance region of an annular tube has been obtained. The results have been presented for a large range of radii ratio and dimensionless yield stress. The mathematical accuracy of the numerical procedure is demonstrated by comparing the asymptotic velocity profiles at large axial ...

Unsteady flow of Casson fluids through the eccentric circular tube
Biorheology, 1992As a model of the flow through the false lumen of the dissecting aortic aneurysm, the starting and stopping flows of the Casson fluid through the eccentric circular tube are studied numerically. The calculations are performed by using the one-direction fully developed unsteady flow model.

Shear Augmented Dispersion of a Solute in a Casson Fluid Flowing in a Conduit
Annals of Biomedical Engineering, 2000The unsteady dispersion of a solute in a Casson fluid flowing in a conduit (pipe/channel) is studied using the generalized dispersion model of Gill and Sankarasubramanian. With this approach, the entire dispersion process is described appropriately in terms of a simple diffusion process with the effective diffusion coefficient as a function of time, in
