Effect of Boundary Absorption in Dispersion in Casson Fluid Flow in a Tube
Annals of Biomedical Engineering, 2004The combined effect of yield stress and irreversible boundary reaction on dispersion process in a Casson fluid flowing in a conduit (pipe/channel) is studied using the generalized dispersion model proposed by Sankarasubramanian and Gill (Sankarasubramanian, R., and W. N. Gill. Proc. R. Soc. London, Ser. A 333:115-132, 1973).

Pulsatile Casson Fluid Flow Through a Stenosed Bifurcated Artery
International Journal of Fluid Mechanics Research, 2009Flow of a pulsatile Casson fluid through a stenosed bifurcated artery has been investigated in this study. The arteries forming bifurcation are assumed to be symmetric and straight cylinders of finite length and it is also assumed that the outer and inner walls of the bifurcated artery undergo wall motion.

This model is targeted to study the swallowing of peristaltically driven food stuff such as jelly, tomato puree, soup, concentrated fruit juices and honey in the aboral direction confined to an oesophagus by modeling it as finite channel. Considering such highly concentrated fluids as Casson fluid in the fully stretched activated state, the dependence ...

An approximate Casson fluid model for tube flow of blood1
Biorheology, 1975An approximate Casson model for tube flow is derived based on order of magnitude considerations. The approximation is principally of value for tube flow measurements in which the pressure drop and volumetric flow rate are experimentally measured.

Secondary flow of a Casson fluid in a slightly curved tube
International Journal of Non-Linear Mechanics, 1993The fully developed, steady flow of a Casson fluid through a slightly curved tube of circular cross-section has been analysed. The solution is developed by successive approximation from the perturbation of flow of a Casson fluid in a straight tube.

Biomathematical modelling of physiological fluids using a Casson fluid with emphasis to peristalsis.
Australasian physical & engineering sciences in medicine, 2001In this paper, the peristaltic flow of rheologically complex physiological fluids when modelled by a non-Newtonian Casson fluid in a two-dimensional channel is considered. Of interest is the difference between peristaltic transport of Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids.
