Una mostra de la transició dialectal catalanoaragonesa: els parlars de la Llitera
One of the Aragonese areas where there is better evidence of Catalan-Aragonese dialect transition is la Llitera, an area in the province of Osca where Catalan and Aragonese border varieties remain alive, alongside the North-Western varieties proper.

Some identities and formulas involving generalized Catalan numbers [PDF]
A generalization of the Catalan numbers is considered. New results include binomial identities, recursive relations and a close formula for the multivariate generating function. A simple expression for the Catalan determinant is derived.

Eulerian-Catalan Numbers [PDF]
We show that the Eulerian-Catalan numbers enumerate Dyck permutations. We provide two proofs for this fact, the first using the geometry of alcoved polytopes and the second a direct combinatorial proof via an Eulerian-Catalan analogue of the Chung-Feller theorem.

ABSTRACT Background Globally, most people with head and neck cancers (HNCs) are diagnosed with advanced‐stage disease. HNC diagnostic stage has multifactorial explanations, with the role of health system factors not yet fully investigated. Methods HNC centres (n = 18) from the HEADSpAcE Consortium were surveyed via a bespoke health system questionnaire

Random graphs induced by Catalan pairs [PDF]
We consider Catalan-pair graphs, a family of graphs that can be viewed as representing certain interactions between pairs of objects which are enumerated by the Catalan numbers. In this paper we study random Catalan-pair graphs and deduce various properties of these random graphs.
