Influence of the catalyst support on the steam reforming performance of toluene as tar model compound [PDF]
The large amount of tar produced along with the syngas during biomass gasification is one of the major obstacle for the diffusion of gasifiers at industrial scale. Catalytic cracking and reforming are the most suitable processes for the transformation of

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Performance Intensification of CO2 Methanation by Co-Feeding Oxygen Over Various Ru-Based Catalysts
Auto-methanation (AM), which autonomously progresses at room temperature (approximately 25 °C), is an effective reaction for converting CO2 to CH4 and can thus reduce the processing costs.

Gas phase polymerization of ethylene with a silica-supported metallocene catalyst: influence of temperature on deactivation [PDF]
Ethylene was polymerized at 5 bar in a stirred powder bed reactor with silica supported rac-Me2Si[Ind]2ZrCl2/methylaluminoxane (MAO) at temperatures between 40°C and 80°C using NaCl as support bed and triethylaluminium (TEA) as a scavenger for impurities.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Functionalization Effect of Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes Used as Supports for Cu-Based Catalysts
In this study, commercial Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotubes (MWCNTs) were subjected to two treatments: oxidation in a liquid phase using concentrated nitric acid and oxidation in a gas phase using air flow.
