Similarity in export composition and catching-up

In this paper we look at the role of export composition in the growth process, considering how increased similarity in trade structure among countries can induce catching-up in income levels. We apply our analysis to the Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) using the EU as a benchmark.

Protein composition of thick filaments from molluscan catch muscle and the role of twitchin in the catch-state formation

In the work, we performed densitometry of thick filaments of the Gray's mussel catch muscle; densitometry included determination of electrophoretic dye binding constants of proteins. The results of densitometry showed that the content of twitchin in thick filaments is significantly (10 times) lower than the content of myosin.

Abstract A specialised recreational land-based game fish fishery in south-eastern Australia was characterised using electronic fisher diaries. Live bait and lure-casting were the primary methods used during long trip durations (mean 9.44 ± SD 6.65 h).
