“Cav u” and the Dual Game [PDF]

open access: possibleMathematics of Operations Research, 1999
We give an alternative proof of a theorem of Aumann and Maschler that characterizes the limit of the values of finitely repeated games with lack of information on one side as the concavification of the value of the game where none of the players has any information. Our proof is based on Fenchel duality techniques.

Detection and Differentiation of CAV-1 and CAV-2 by Polymerase Chain Reaction

Veterinary Research Communications, 2001
Canine adenovirus type 1 (CAV-1) and type 2 (CAV-2) can be categorized in the laboratory by haemagglutination and neutralization tests, but they are difficult to differentiate from each other in specimens, especially when infection occurs in the digestive tract.

Effect of D-arginine on antinociception induced by kyotorphin, Tyr-cav, L-cav and Tyr(Cl2)-cav in rats

Methods and Findings in Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology, 2004
Kyotorphin (Kyo) is synthesized in specific brain regions where it may modulate synaptic transmission. Kyo directly excites cortical neurons, and indirectly exerts opioid actions to produce analgesia via the release of [Met]-enkephalin. Kyo is formed by a specific enzyme from L-tyrosine, L-arginine (L-arg) and ATP in the presence of Mg2+.

CAV Trajectories Among Patients With No or Mild CAV at 10 Years Posttransplant

Clinical Transplantation
ABSTRACTCardiac allograft vasculopathy (CAV) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality following heart transplantation (HT). Prior studies identified distinct CAV trajectories in the early post‐HT period with unique predictors, but the evolution of CAV in later periods is not well‐described.
