Enhancement of an aggressive intensity of a cavitating jet by water flow holes near nozzle outlet
The cavitation cloud generated by submerged high-speed water jet has periodicity. The periodicity is provided by alternately repeating the bubbles generation and shedding process and cavitation nucleus filling process.

Cavitation Observations in a Jet-Flow Gate-Valve
As a step for clarification of the mechanism of cavitation erosion as well as noises at a jet-flow gate-valve, the cavitation-aspects and the associated sound-pressures were simultaneously observed systematically by means of high-speed-photography and sensitive pressure-detection through a hydrophone, in a 1/10-scale model-valve for various openings ...

Instantaneous Behavior of Cavitation Clouds at Impingement of Cavitating Water-Jet
It is known that water-jet with cavitation clouds shows unsteady behavior and causes high impact. It is useful for not only the water jet technology but also various engineering fields. The unsteadiness of cavitation clouds is one of the most interesting problems for the use of the cavitating water-jet.
