Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review
Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.

A New Parameter to Predict Cavitation Erosion
In order to avoid or predict cavitation erosion, it is necessary to know resistance of materials against to cavitation impacts. The cavitation impacts, which are larger than certain threshold level, only affect cavitation erosion of materials.

Dynamic Behaviour of Bubbles in Oil Under Electrothermal Ageing
ABSTRACT During long‐term operation of converter transformers, the internal oil–pressboard insulation undergoes irreversible degradation. Partial discharge in the weakened insulation will cause the formation of a large number of bubbles in the insulating oil.

Erosion and impact intensity of vibratory, jet and turbine cavitation [PDF]
The ratio of the cavitation erosion resistance of the new austenitic stainless steel Hydroloy to the one of the standard 308 has been found to vary from 11 to 16 in vibratory cavitation tests to about 5 in large hydroturbines. Cavitation erosion tests in

ABSTRACT Flow capacitive deionisation is an advanced electrochemical technology for water purification and energy‐related applications. It represents a viable alternative to conventional desalination methods due to its low operating voltage, continuous electrode regeneration, and stable performance under moderate‐to‐high salinity conditions. The use of
