Cavitating Flow through a Micro-Orifice
Microfluidic systems have witnessed rapid development in recent years. As one of the most common structures, the micro-orifice is always included inside microfluidic systems. Hydrodynamic cavitation in the micro-orifice has been experimentally discovered

A Cavitation Erosion Model for Ductile Materials [PDF]
An analytical model is proposed for the prediction of cavitation erosion of ductile materials. It is based upon a physical analysis of the work-hardening process due to the successive bubble collapses.

Tailored D‐π Conjugation Boosts Piezocatalytic CO2 Reduction in a Platinum(II)‐Acetylide Framework
The highly conjugated metalII‐acetylide framework demonstrates efficient ultrasound‐driven conversion of CO2 to CO. The piezoelectric field generated by ultrasound facilitates electron transfer from the tetraphenylene π‐column to the MII‐bis(acetylide) moiety, enabling CO2 activation. Compared to PdII‐ and NiII‐based analogues, the stronger d–π orbital

Mechanically Regulated Nanozymes for Remote Metabolic Reprogramming and Precise Cancer Therapy
Inspired by mechanoenzymes, a ferrocene‐based mechanically regulated nanozyme converts acoustic shear force into enhanced peroxidase‐like activity by decreasing electron density and alleviating steric hindrance at the Fe active sites, thereby rewiring redox homeostasis. Leveraging this remote regulatory mechanism, a multienzyme‐regulated nanoreactor is

Cavitation Risk through the Bottom Outlet of the Dam Using Numerical Solution of Ansys Model
The objective of the present research was to investigate the flow properties through the bottom outlet of the Nesa dam based on numerical and experimental studies. 22 piezometers were employed to measure the static pressure through the experimental model.

New dimensionless number to predict cavitation in accelerated fluid [PDF]
Cavitation is the formation of vapour cavities in a liquid due to a local low pressure. The traditional cavitation number is used to predict the occurrence of cavitation in liquid flows through devices such as pumps, propellers or dam spillways.

A pro‐inflammatory microglial subset persists after decompression in chronic compressive cervical spinal cord injury and shows enhanced Dnmt3a‐driven m5C signaling. By stabilizing RelA mRNA, this axis sustains NF‐κB activation and postoperative neuroinflammation.

Treatment‐resistant wounds caused by polymicrobial biofilms are refractory to conventional therapies due to the dense extracellular matrices. We developed μBLAST, a microblasting wound dressing that combines MnO2‐doped biosilica and a H2O2‐releasing mesh to generate localized oxygen microbubbles that mechanically disrupt biofilms.
