CD4+CD45RA+T cells from adults respond to recall antigens after CD28 ligation
International Immunology, 1996The leukocyte common antigen isoforms CD45RA and CD45RO have long been used to discriminate human naive and memory T cells respectively. This model was largely based on the observation that CD45RO+ T cells respond preferentially to and show a higher frequency of precursors specific for recall antigens.

[Construction of 3D model of CD28 chimeric antibody with its antigen docked].
Xi bao yu fen zi mian yi xue za zhi = Chinese journal of cellular and molecular immunology, 2013To construct a 3D model of the chimeric antibodies (AntiCD28: ch-2F5) with corresponding antigen molecule docked to theoretically verify the rationality of the binding of antibody with its antigen and to provide a method of 3D identification between antigen and antibody and spatial structure analysis. We analyzed the sequence by submitting it to http ...

T cell antigen CD28 binds to the GRB‐2/SOS complex, regulators of p21ras
European Journal of Immunology, 1995AbstractThe T cell molecule CD28 provides a co‐stimulatory signal that is required for T cell proliferation, and has been implicated in the control of T cell anergy. An important clue to the signaling mechanism of CD28 is the finding that CD28 can bind to phosphatidylinositol 3‐kinase (PI 3‐kinase) by means of a cytoplasmic phospho‐YMNM (pYMNM) motif ...

Summary: Human CD8+CD28− suppressor T cells (Ts) are a subset of T cells generated in the course of in vitro and in vivo immunizations. Ts recognize MHC class I:peptide complexes and inhibit the reactivity of T helper cells (Th) with cognate antigen specificity.
