Molecular Network Control Through Boolean Canalization [PDF]
Boolean networks are an important class of computational models for molecular interaction networks. Boolean canalization, a type of hierarchical clustering of the inputs of a Boolean function, has been extensively studied in the context of network ...

Decellularized liver extracellular matrix scaffolds provide a platform to study dormant liver‐metastatic colorectal cancer. They induce reversible dormancy, in combination with nutrient depletion and low dose chemotherapy, through cell cycle arrest and chemotherapy resistance.

Infection virus including HBV and HCV has been well recognized as a major cause inducing hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, molecular investigations into the HTLV-1 (Human T-lymphotropic virus type-1) and HCC have been rare.

CDH1 Orchestrates Anabolic Events to Promote Cell Cycle Initiation
Cell proliferation requires the integration of cell cycle and anabolic signals. G1‐phase regulator CDH1 coordinates anabolism through the CDH1‐VHL‐AARS2/HIF1α axis, while CDH1‐accumulated R5P is sensed by TKTL1 to facilitate CDH1 degradation and cell cycle initiation, constituting a CDH1‐centered regulatory circuit.

A tripartite mechanism catalyzes Mad2-Cdc20 assembly at unattached kinetochores
Checking fidelity in cell division Everything has to go right during cell division, so a checkpoint mechanism known as the spindle-assembly checkpoint prevents mitosis from proceeding unless the kinetochores that attach chromosomes to the spindle ...

Clathrin Light Chain B (CLTB) drives hepatocellular carcinoma progression through dual pathways: intracellularly, it activates the NF‐κB–PCLAF axis to enhance small extracellular vesicle (sEV) uptake and tumor proliferation; extracellularly, CLTB‐enriched sEVs bind SH3KBP1 to inhibit its degradation, inducing angiogenesis and vascular leakage ...

Conserved CDC20 cell cycle functions are carried out by two of the five isoforms in Arabidopsis thaliana. [PDF]
The CDC20 and Cdh1/CCS52 proteins are substrate determinants and activators of the Anaphase Promoting Complex/Cyclosome (APC/C) E3 ubiquitin ligase and as such they control the mitotic cell cycle by targeting the degradation of various cell cycle ...

Securin Is Not Required for Chromosomal Stability in Human Cells [PDF]
Abnormalities of chromosome number are frequently observed in cancers. The mechanisms regulating chromosome segregation in human cells are therefore of great interest.

This study elucidates how DCAF12 facilitates non‐degradative ubiquitination to stabilize TRiC/CCT, thereby enhancing the folding capacity of chaperonins. This mechanism promotes the maturation of cytoskeletal proteins and activates key oncogenic drivers, including YAP, STAT3, and mTOR, ultimately driving metastatic progression in lung cancer.
