Abstract This research investigates the intricate relationship between load variations, environmental conditions, and the resultant stray current generation within DC railway systems. A scaled‐down single‐viaduct model was employed to establish a controlled experimental environment for real‐time monitoring of voltage differentials between the railway ...

Electromagnetic Field Calculation of Transformer Station 400/110 kV Ernestinovo Using CDEGS Software
This paper presents calculations of the electric and magnetic fields of complex busbars, transformers and transmission line structures at the transmission power station 400/110 kV Ernestinovo. By constructing and bringing the TS 400/110 kV Ernestinovo in operation, it was expected that electric and magnetic fields would arise within and outside the ...

Assessment of Step and Touch Voltages for Different Multilayer Soil Models of Complex Grounding Grid [PDF]
In this paper the influence of different soil models on step and touch voltages are presented. Soil resistivity is the basic characteristic of soil which affects a number of parameters (temperature, humidity, salt content).

Two‐Layer Optimal Electricity Trading Method for Distribution Networks with Multi‐MG
To enhance the operational benefits of distribution networks and microgrids while reducing microgrid energy costs, this paper proposes a distributed trading strategy for microgrids based on a leader–follower game. First, a multi‐objective two‐layer optimization trading model for distribution network (DN)‐microgrid (MG) interaction is established based ...

Electromagnetic Transient Modelling of Grounding Structures [PDF]
Grounding is traditionally modelled as a pure resistance. This is a good approximation at low frequencies, but as the frequency gets higher, inductance starts to play an important role. To acquire accurate transient response of the system it is desirable
