A rapid and high-throughput quantum dots bioassay for monitoring of perfluorooctane sulfonate in environmental water samples [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Currently HPLC/MS is the state of the art tool for environmental/drinking water perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) monitoring. PFOS can bind to peroxisomal proliferator-activated receptor-alpha (PPARα), which forms heterodimers with retinoid X receptors

Feedback Tracking and Correlation Spectroscopy of Fluorescent Nanoparticles and Biomolecules [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The best way to study dynamic fluctuations in single molecules or nanoparticles is to look at only one particle at a time, and to look for as long as possible.

Scaling Up Molecular Electron Spin Qubits Around a Core‐Shell Quantum Dot

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Making assemblies of molecular nanomagnet (MNM) qubits is an essential step toward scalable quantum devices. Here, SH‐functionalized {Cr7Ni} antiferromagnetic rings with ability as MNM qubits were successfully grafted to the surface of fluorescent CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QD).
