Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) Immune-stimulating Complexes (Iscoms), but Not Measles Virus Iscoms, Protect Dogs against CDV Infection

open access: yesJournal of General Virology, 1988
The potential of immune-stimulating complexes (iscoms), a novel form of antigenic presentation, for the induction of protective immunity against morbillivirus infection was shown by immunizing dogs with canine distemper virus (CDV) iscoms, which contained the fusion (F) protein and a minor amount of the haemagglutinin of the virus.

Simulating Shallow Mesoscale Overturning Circulations in the Trades With Kilometer‐Scale Earth System Models

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 9, 16 May 2026.
Abstract Shallow mesoscale overturning circulations (SMOCs) are ubiquitous in the trades, primarily triggered by mesoscale convective heating and influencing the organization of shallow cumuli. Accurate representation of SMOCs and their co‐variability with moisture is crucial for capturing mesoscale cloud organization in models and improving climate ...

On the superposition of a number of CDV affected cell streams [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
This paper considers the superposition of a number of Constant Bit Rate (CBR) cell streams which have been exposed to Cell Delay Variation (CDV). The case in which the CBR cell streams are affected by CDV in a single multiplexer is characterized by a diffusion model.

A spatiotemporal analysis of ungulate–vehicle collision hotspots in response to road construction and realignment

open access: yesEcology and Society
Although roads are central to human society, they have many negative environmental impacts and create risk for traveling motorists. Our aim was to evaluate the spatiotemporal evolution of ungulate–vehicle collision (UVC) hotspots in response to major ...
