Enhanced High‐Performance β‐Ray Detectors Based on GaN Multi‐Quantum Well Structures
This study presents a GaN multi‐quantum well (MQW) β‐ray detector, showcasing enhanced sensitivity and stability. Evaluated under electron energies (5–50 keV) and intensities (0–50 mCi cm−2), the detector achieves 2.68 ± 0.08 nA mCi−1 sensitivity and stable performance, highlighting its potential to overcome limitations of current β‐ray detectors ...

A Prototype VP-PET Imaging System Based on Highly Pixelated CdZnTe Detectors
We investigated a prototype virtual-pinhole positron emission tomography (PET) system for small-animal imaging applications. The PET detector modules were made up of 1.3 mm lutetium-yttrium oxyorthosilicate (LYSO) arrays, and the insert detectors ...

We report a new mixed low‐dimensional (1D–0D) organolead halide perovskite single crystal with a size of 5 mm and well‐defined crystallinity, showing unique polarized photoluminescence and oriented ion migration behavior. Based on the 1D–0D crystal, we have successfully obtained a high‐sensitivity x‐ray detector with an ultra‐low detection limit of 152.

single-electron events and 0{\nu}{\beta}{\beta} events in CdZnTe: A Monte Carlo simulation study
In neutrinoless double beta (0{\nu}{\beta}{\beta}) decay experiments, the diversity of topological signatures of different particles provides an important tool to distinguish double beta events from background events and reduce background rates.
