Oleanane Triterpenoids from Cedrela montana (Meliaceae) [PDF]
Two new oleanane-type triterpenes, characterized as 3-oxo-11α,12α-epoxy-oleanan-28,13β- olide and 3-oxo-olean-11-en-28,13β-olide , were isolated from the fruits and seeds of Cedrela montana (Meliaceae). In addition, the known compounds oleanonic acid , a mixture of β-sitosterol and stigmasterol, and the limonoid photogedunin were also isolated.

Apotirucallane and Tirucallane Triterpenoids from Cedrela sinensis
Nine new triterpenoids, 1-9, were isolated from the cortex of Cedrela sinensis (Meliaceae), together with six known compounds, sapelin E acetate, grandifoliolenone, azadirone, bourjotinolone A, piscidinol A, and hispidol B. The structures of 1-9 were determined by the 2D NMR experiments, chemical methods, and X-ray crystallography.

Multi‐Species Canopy Latrines in Costa Rican Cloud Forests: A Mammal Interactions Hub in a Single Tree Species [PDF]
We documented arboreal, multi‐species mammal latrines in montane cloud forests of Costa Rica by surveying 169 trees across 29 species. Latrines were found exclusively on Ficus tuerckheimii, with 11 occurrences across two mountain ranges and an additional observation in Honduras.
