Integrated multi-assay culture model for stem cell chondrogenic differentiation [PDF]
Recent osteochondral repair strategies highlight the promise of mesenchymal progenitors, an accessible stem cell source with osteogenic and chondrogenic potential, used in conjunction with biomaterials for tissue engineering.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Lab-in-a-trench platform for real-time monitoring of cell surface protein expression [PDF]
In this work we for the first time demonstrate real-time monitoring of the expression of membrane proteins in native, live cells, free of hydrodynamic stress at single cell resolution. This micro-optofluidic mechanism is uniquely enabled by the intricate

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

3D cell culture models of epithelial tissues [PDF]
Cells in tissues in vivo face a very different microenvironment than typical cultured cells plated on a plastic dish. Already several decades ago, cell biologists observed that cell lines show dramatically different morphology and growth characteristics ...

Current Approaches to Three-Dimensional Cell Culture System [PDF]

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

3D Cardiac Cell Culture: A Critical Review of Current Technologies and Applications [PDF]
Three-dimensional (3D) cell culture is often mentioned in the context of regenerative medicine, for example, for the replacement of ischemic myocardium with tissue-engineered muscle constructs.
