Centrosome duplication is synchronized with cell cycle events but how this is regulated at a molecular level is unclear. Here, the authors show that the DNA replication licensing factor Cdc6 restrains centrosome duplication via binding and inhibiting Sas-

Stem cells are a promising cell source for regenerative medicine. Stem cell differentiation must be regulated for applications in regenerative medicine. Stem cells are surrounded by extracellular matrix (ECM) in vivo. The ECM is composed of many types of

Presurgery 72‐h fasting in GB patients leads to adaptations of plasma lipids and polar metabolites. Fasting reduces lysophosphatidylcholines and increases free fatty acids, shifts triglycerides toward long‐chain TGs and increases branched‐chain amino acids, alpha aminobutyric acid, and uric acid.

Role of Hox genes in stem cell differentiation.
Hox genes are an evolutionary highly conserved gene family. They determine the anterior-posterior body axis in bilateral organisms and influence the developmental fate of cells.

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Airway epithelial SPDEF integrates goblet cell differentiation and pulmonary Th2 inflammation.
Epithelial cells that line the conducting airways provide the initial barrier and innate immune responses to the abundant particles, microbes, and allergens that are inhaled throughout life.

This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.
