Cell sheet as a bioink for 3D bioprinting [PDF]
Cell sheet technology is a growing area in tissue engineering. It enables a sheet of interconnected cells which is enriched with cell-extracellular matrix (ECM) and cell-cell interactions.

Accelerated oral wound healing using a pre-vascularized mucosal cell sheet
Cell sheets with pre-vascularization have recently been developed but remain relatively untested in oral wound healing. Therefore, we examined the potential utility of our newly developed pre-vascularized mucosal cell sheets in oral wound healing ...

A compostable PGS soft surgical robot with interchangeable modules integrates transient Mo tactile and Si thermal sensors for dual feedback. The device preserves its function after clinical‐grade sterilization, demonstrates stable actuation and cardiac tissue grasping with real‐time in vivo pulsatile monitoring, and biodegrades post‐use with soil‐safe,

X‐Functionality–Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 Perovskites
We report a water‐based synthesis of 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 perovskite microcrystals with prominent photocatalytic (PC) activity for H2 production. The synergy between organic functionalization and HI‐derived iodide scavenges holes suppress octahedral distortion, and favor electron accumulation, enabling a PC H2 evolution ∼20 µmol·g−1 and long‐term stability ...

Mimicking the human vascular stem cell niche - development of different in vitro models
Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are able to reconstitute the human blood system. In vivo, HSCs are localized in and regulated by distinct microenvironments in the bone marrow, their so-called niches.

Modeling cell sheet wound closure

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.
