Integrating regenerative biology with developmental psychobiology to understand behavioral recovery
Developmental psychobiology (DPB) is a sub-discipline of developmental biology investigating behavioral development. Regenerative biology is also a sub-discipline of developmental biology, studying how tissues and organs heal and regenerate after injury.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Conditions for establishing fin primary cell cultures in a wide range of ray-finned fishes
Ray-finned fishes (Actinopterygii) represent the most diverse vertebrate lineage that show extensive variations in physiology, ways of life, and adaptations to marine and freshwater environments, and several species have been established as biological ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

GPI-AP release in cellular, developmental, and reproductive biology
Yoshitaka Fujihara, Masahito Ikawa, GPI-AP release in cellular, developmental, and reproductive biology, Journal of Lipid Research, Volume 57, Issue 4, 2016, Pages 538-545, ISSN 0022-2275, https://doi.org/10.1194/jlr.R063032. Glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored proteins (GPI-APs) contain a covalently linked GPI anchor located on outer cell membranes.
