On the Stability of Thermonuclear Burning Fronts in Type Ia Supernovae
The propagation of cellularly stabilized thermonuclear flames is investigated by means of numerical simulations. In Type Ia supernova explosions the corresponding burning regime establishes at scales below the Gibson length.

Detonation Diffraction Through a Mixture Gradient [PDF]
A simple one-dimensional model of a self-propagating gaseous detonation consists of a shock wave tightly coupled to a reaction zone, propagating through a combustible gas mixture as shown in Fig. 1 (Strehlow 1984). A feedback mechanism exists in that the

Dynamic States of Cellular flames
A premixed flame on a circular porous plug burner can form cellular flames, which are ordered patterns of concentric rings of brighter, hotter regions separated by darker, cooler cusps and folds. These ordered states bifurcate to dynamic states in which the cells move in coordinated motion.

The BnTFL1‐BnJAM3‐BnSWEETs Module Orchestrates Seed Storage Reserve Accumulation in Brassica napus
BnaC03.TFL1 and BnaA01.JAM3 form a complex that facilitates the transport of soluble sugars from the seed coat to the embryo by directly activating the expression of BnSWEETs. Furthermore, BnaC03.TFL1 and BnaA01.JAM3 work cooperatively to promote soluble sugar and oil production while suppressing protein deposition.

Use of Ion-Channel Modulating Agents to Study Cyanobacterial Na+ - K+ Fluxes
Here we describe an experimental design aimed to investigate changes in total cellular levels of Na+ and K+ ions in cultures of freshwater filamentous cyanobacteria. Ion concentrations were measured in whole cells by flame photometry. Cellular Na+ levels

Biosynthesis of Sciadonic Acid Derived from Gymnosperms with Anti‐Colitis Activity
This study establishes an efficient Yarrowia lipolytica platform for unusual sciadonic acid (SCA) production and assess the anti‐colitis efficacy in mice of SCA, supporting its potential as a novel therapeutic lipid. ABSTRACT Sciadonic acid (SCA), Δ5‐unsaturated fatty acid with anti‐inflammatory and lipid‐regulatory properties, is predominantly derived
