Probabilistic model for the structure of the microfibril of cellulose
Journal of Polymer Science Part A: General Papers, 1965AbstractA probabilistic model is presented for the structure of an “ideal” microfibril of cellulose and the distribution of weak bonds along this microfibril is calculated. Exact and asymptotic formulas are derived for the number and weight distributions and for the corresponding averages.
