Abstract Gastric abscess is a rare condition caused by gastric barrier damage. It is easily misdiagnosed in clinical practice as a cancer recurrence or submucosal tumor, especially after surgery or endoscopic submucosal dissection. With a relatively high mortality rate, the cause and clinical characteristics of gastric abscesses are obscure.

Vibrio alginolyticus NBRC 15630, Vibrio parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802, Shewanella algae DW01, and Shewanella algae ATCC 51192 bacterial strains were found in the Mud crab brood and egg samples. All isolates were found to be sensitive to cefotaxime, chloramphenicol, gentamicin, and nitrofurantoin antibiotics.

First, probiotic strain Lactobacillus zeae N165 with oral antibacterial activity, autoaggregation ability and coaggregation ability was screened through in vitro experiments. Then, in vivo efficacy evaluation was conducted on this strain, and a mouse model was used to verify its ameliorative effect on periodontitis.
