Influence of Sealing Mortar in the Strength of Compression of the Structural Masonry Ceramic
Minerals, Metals and Materials Series, 2020Seeking to reduce costs, one of the constructive alternatives that have been employed in Brazil is structural masonry. In this study, the influence of the mortar on the strength of the masonry was analyzed by two block prisms. The thickness of the joint was varied in five levels and the unit used was the ceramic structural block 14 × 19 × 29 cm.
