ОПРЕДЕЛЕНИЕ МАСЛИЧНОСТИ СЕМЯН. PRUNUS CERASUS

open access: yes, 2023

Factors affecting seedling establishment in a warm‐temperate secondary forest affected by oak wilt disease

open access: yesPlant Biology, Volume 27, Issue 6, Page 1097-1106, October 2025.
This study revealed that seedling density and functional traits are influenced by changing environmental conditions across different periods of Japanese oak wilt disease disturbance, with key drivers of seedling regeneration varying over time. Abstract Diseases are major natural disturbances to forest ecosystems that cause changes to overstory tree ...

Fire effects on the composition of soil seed bank and soil properties in Iran

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 8, Issue 3, September 2025.
Abstract Fire is a frequent phenomenon in rangelands and because of its complicated and different effects on natural ecosystems, it has great importance. Awareness of such fire effects on vegetation cover in point of rangeland management after fire is important and helps better understanding and sustainable management of rangelands.

Overwintering foraging tactics of sedentary sika deer in a region prone to heavy snow in northern Japan

open access: yesEcological Research, Volume 40, Issue 5, September 2025.
We present the overwintering foraging tactics adopted by the sika deer recently established in a heavy snowfall region of northern Japan. We found that sedentary deer adopted risk‐averse foraging by switching their dietary compositions to readily available foods under different snow conditions. In particular, when facing extreme snowfall, they depended

Alkali‐Treated Borassus Husk Fiber Reinforced High‐Heat Resistant Epoxy: Insights Into Their Thermal, Dynamic Mechanical, and Outgassing Properties

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 7, Issue 7, July 2025.
This study explores Borassus husk fiber/epoxy composites treated with 5% NaOH, showing enhanced thermal stability, mechanical strength, and damping properties. The 0.75‐h treated fiber achieved the highest thermal stability (IPDT: 525°C). Despite a slight drop in Tg, the composites outperformed other natural fiber counterparts.
