ERM Inhibition Confers Ferroptosis Resistance through ROS‐Induced NRF2 Signaling
ERM inhibition disrupts ERM‐actin interactions, elevating ROS and triggering KEAP1 degradation, which stabilizes and activates NRF2. Nuclear NRF2 induces cytoprotective genes, notably HMOX1, enhancing redox buffering and suppressing lipid peroxidation to resist erastin‐induced ferroptosis.

Spike burst-pause dynamics of Purkinje cells regulate sensorimotor adaptation.
Cerebellar Purkinje cells mediate accurate eye movement coordination. However, it remains unclear how oculomotor adaptation depends on the interplay between the characteristic Purkinje cell response patterns, namely tonic, bursting, and spike pauses ...

Isoperimetric Partitioning: A New Algorithm for Graph Partitioning [PDF]
Temporal structure is skilled, fluent action exists at several nested levels. At the largest scale considered here, short sequences of actions that are planned collectively in prefronatal cortex appear to be queued for performance by a cyclic competitive

Light Therapy Alleviates Addiction‐Related Symptoms and Reshapes Habenula and Midbrain Pathways
This study investigates light therapy for treating Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD). Functional MRI (fMRI) data reveal that light therapy enhances brain connectivity, particularly between the habenula and the medial orbitofrontal cortex (mOFC). These changes are associated with reduced withdrawal symptoms and addiction severity, highlighting the ...

Aberrant Splicing Signatures Underpin Oligodendrocyte Damage in ALS and Neuron Loss in FTD
Integrating bulk and single‐nucleus RNA‐seq from ALS and FTD patients, we revealed distinct cellular dysfunctions, with severe oligodendrocyte damage in ALS and pronounced neuron loss in FTD. We identified cell‐type‐specific aberrant splicing events as potential biomarkers with robust classification performance, some of which produce de novo peptides ...

Neuronal Migration During Development of the Cerebellum
Neuronal migration is a fundamental process in central nervous system (CNS) development. The assembly of functioning neuronal circuits relies on neuronal migration occurring in the appropriate spatio-temporal pattern.

On the Cerebellar Nuclei of Birds
1. The cerebellar nuclei of birds comprise the nuclei medialis, interpositus and lateralis which form single masses respectively and never divide into subnuclei.2. These three nuclei show conspicuous mutual confluence.3. A frank confluence is also observed between the cerebellar nuclei and the nucleus vestibularis.
