A review of 113 scientific and other publications on the smallest and most abundant deer in Lithuania, the roe deer (Capreolus capreolus), is presented, along with an analysis based on compound annual population growth rates of population numbers, hunting bags, and roadkill.

An autonomous network of acoustic detectors to map tiger risk by eavesdropping on prey alarm calls

Tiger population recovery brings with it increased fatalities from human‐tiger conflict. We describe a network of autonomous intelligent passive acoustic sensors that monitor the forest for deer alarm calls as a proxy for tiger risk and provide a risk map to local communities in real‐time.

Monitoring feral pigs (Sus scrofa): Complementarity between autonomous sensing methods increases detection probability

Versatile High‐Sensitivity EPR Using Superconducting Spiral Microresonators

Small Methods, EarlyView.
A significant sensitivity enhancement in conventional X‐band pulsed EPR is achieved using planar spiral microresonators fabricated from high‐temperature superconducting YBCO. Fully compatible with standard instrumentation, the approach enables high‐fidelity spin control under typical sample conditions.
