Application of the CESTAC Method to Find the Optimal Iteration of the Homotopy Analysis Method for Solving Fuzzy Integral Equations

open access: yesAdvances in Intelligent Systems and Computing, 2021
The goal of this work is to apply the stochastic arithmetic (SA) in discrete form and the CESTAC (Controle et Estimation Stochastique des Arrondis de Calculs) method to validate the numerical results of solving fuzzy Fredholm and Volterra integral equations (IEs) by homotopy analysis method (HAM).

Validation of a Parametric Identification Technique through a Derivative CESTAC Method

open access: yes2007 International Symposium on Computational Intelligence in Robotics and Automation, 2007
Parametric identification consists in estimating the values of physical parameters of robotic systems. The most popular methods consist in using the least squares regression because of their simplicity. However, we know that these techniques are not intrinsically robust. An alternative consists in justifying the use of the LS technique.

Testing Stochastic Arithmetic and CESTAC Method Via Polynomial Computation

open access: yes, 2007
The CESTAC method and its implementation known as CADNA software have been created to estimate the accuracy of the solution of real life problems when these solutions are obtained from numerical methods implemented on a computer. The method takes into account uncertainties on data and round-off errors.

Applying the fuzzy CESTAC method to find the optimal shape parameter in solving fuzzy differential equations via RBF-meshless methods

Soft Computing, 2020
In this paper, by using the CESTAC method and the CADNA library a procedure is proposed to solve a fuzzy initial value problem based on RBF-meshless methods under generalized H-differentiability. So a reliable approach is presented to determine optimal shape parameter and number of points for RBF-meshless methods.

A variant of the CESTAC method and its application to constrained optimization

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, 1988
This paper is concerned with estimating the number of exact digits in a computed solution to a nonlinear programming problem. Related to this goal is the design of stopping criteria based on statistical grounds. Such ideas are developed. Results of numerical experiments are provided.
