Investigation of Starch Binding Domains for Improvement of Starch degradation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009

HIDROLISIS PATI GARUT SECARA ENZIMATIS UNTUK PEMBENTUKAN SIKLODEKSTRIN

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Pertanian Indonesia, 2008
Modified starch has important role in chemical, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Cyclodextrin was prepared based on garut starch using starch hidroying enzime namely 0-amylase, 0-amylase, pullulanase and glukoamylase.

Isolation, Purification and Biochemical Characterization of CGTase from Bacillus halodurans

open access: yesHrvatski časopis za prehrambenu tehnologiju, biotehnologiju i nutricionizam, 2012
A novel Cyclomaltodextrin glucanotransferase (CGTase) producer, Bacillus halodurans was isolated from soil obtained from sugarcane fi elds. CGTase was produced in bulk through submerged batch fermentation in Horikoshi’s Media II. Soluble starch was used as carbon source and a combination of yeast extract and peptone were used as nitrogen source in the ...

Covalent immobilization of cyclodextrin glucosyltransferase (CGTase) in activated silica and Sepharose.

open access: yesIndian journal of biochemistry & biophysics, 2012
Cyclodextrin glucanotransferase is a non-Leloir glycosyltransferase that directly employs the free energy of cleavage of starch to produce cyclodextrins. In presence of appropriate acceptors, this enzyme synthesizes oligosaccharides containing alpha(1-->4) bonds.
