Shear Elasticity of Magnetic Gels with Internal Structures

open access: yesSensors, 2018
We present the results of the theoretical modeling of the elastic shear properties of a magnetic gel, consisting of soft matrix and embedded, fine magnetizable particles, which are united in linear chain-like structures.

Facile Synthesis of 3-(Azol-1-yl)-1-adamantanecarboxylic Acids—New Bifunctional Angle-Shaped Building Blocks for Coordination Polymers

open access: yesMolecules, 2019
For the first time, orthogonally substituted azole-carboxylate adamantane ligands were synthesized and used for preparation of coordination polymers. The angle-shaped ligands were prepared by the reaction of 1-adamantanecarboxylic acid and azoles (1H-1,2,

Restrain Price Collusion in Trade-Based Supply Chain Finance

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
Collusion can increase the transaction value among supply chain members to obtain higher loans from supply chain finance (SCF) service provider, which will bring some serious risks for SCF.

Foreword [PDF]

open access: yes, 1964
Model Quality Assessment Programs (MQAPs) are used to predict the quality of modeled protein structures. These usually use two approaches: methods using consensus of many alternative models and methods requiring only a single model to do its prediction ...

NON-STATIONARY THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF CHAIN STRUCTURES AT LOW TEMPERATURES

open access: yesТонкие химические технологии, 2017
The matter of thermal conductivity is considered in an approximation, in which the free length of phonons is limited and doesn't depend on temperature, so that the temperature behavior of thermal conductivity coefficient is only determined by thermal ...

Chain Plot: A Tool for Exploiting Bivariate Temporal Structures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
In this paper we present a graphical tool useful for visualizing the cyclic behaviour of bivariate time series. We investigate its properties and link it to the asymmetry of the two variables concerned.

Damage Assessment of Shear Wall Structures in an Earthquake–Blast Disaster Chain

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Shear wall structures are widely used in civil engineering, and their seismic design has been the focus of much attention. Explosions can result from the rupture and ignition of gas pipelines under seismic action, and there are currently no methods to ...

Use of Ontological Structures for Integrated Supply Chain Management

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2013
The integration of the different hierarchical decision making levels involved within a Chemical Supply Chain is essential for its adequate management in dynamic and competitive markets.

Event structures for Petri nets with persistence [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Event structures are a well-accepted model of concurrency. In a seminal paper by Nielsen, Plotkin and Winskel, they are used to establish a bridge between the theory of domains and the approach to concurrency proposed by Petri.

The BFT method with chain structure

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2004
We have constructed a modified BFT method that preserves the chain structure of constraints. This method has two advantages: first, it leads to less number of primary constraints such that the remaining constraints emerge automatically; and second, it gives less number of independent gauge parameters.
