Light-Weighted Password-Based Multi-Group Authenticated Key Agreement for Wireless Sensor Networks
Security is a critical issue for medical and health care systems. Password-based group-authenticated key agreement for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) allows a group of sensor nodes to negotiate a common session key by using password authentication and ...

Public channel cryptography by synchronization of neural networks and chaotic maps
Two different kinds of synchronization have been applied to cryptography: Synchronization of chaotic maps by one common external signal and synchronization of neural networks by mutual learning.

Quantum Baker Maps for Spiraling Chaotic Motion [PDF]
We define a coupling of two baker maps through a pi/2 rotation both in position and in momentum. The classical trajectories thus exhibit spiraling, or loxodromic motion, which is only possible for conservative maps of at least two degrees of freedom ...

Hierarchy of piecewise non-linear maps with non-ergodicity behavior
We study the dynamics of hierarchy of piecewise maps generated by one-parameter families of trigonometric chaotic maps and one-parameter families of elliptic chaotic maps of $\mathbf{cn}$ and $\mathbf{sn}$ types, in detail.

An n-Dimensional Chaotic Map with Application in Reversible Data Hiding for Medical Images
The drawbacks of a one-dimensional chaotic map are its straightforward structure, abrupt intervals, and ease of signal prediction. Richer performance and a more complicated structure are required for multidimensional chaotic mapping.

We consider a family of singular maps as an example of a simple model of dynamical systems exhibiting the property of robust chaos on a well defined range of parameters. Critical boundaries separating the region of robust chaos from the region where stable fixed points exist are calculated on the parameter space of the system.
