Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Homotopy Continuation for Characteristic Roots of Delay Differential Equation [PDF]
In this thesis we develop a homotopy continuation method to find the characteristic roots of scalar delay differential equations with multiple delays. We introduce a homotopy parameter µ € [0;1] in such a way that for µ - 0, the characteristic equation ...

Characteristic mode theory based on combined field integral equation
Characteristic mode theory is usually formulated on top of the electric field integral equation. We present in this paper a combined field integral equation based characteristic mode theory which is immune to the internal resonance corruption when the ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

THE PROCESS OF HEAT TRANSFER IN TWO-LAYERED CYLINDRICAL BODY
Determination of thermal regimes of composite cylindrical bodies by analytical methods leads to the appearance of complex characteristic equations, the solution of which is the determination of eigenvalues.

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Decomposition method and its application to the extremal problems
In the article solution of the problem of extremal value of x(τ) is presented, for the n-th order linear systems. The extremum of x(τ) is considered as a function of the roots s1, s2, ... sn of the characteristic equation.

On Coding by (2,q)-Distance Fibonacci Numbers
In 2006, A. Stakhov introduced a new coding/decoding process based on generating matrices of the Fibonacci p-numbers, which he called the Fibonacci coding/decoding method.
