The construction problem for Hodge numbers modulo an integer in positive characteristic
Let k be an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic. For any integer $m\ge 2$ , we show that the Hodge numbers of a smooth projective k-variety can take on any combination of values modulo m, subject only to Serre duality.

A Class of Characteristic-Value Problems [PDF]
This chapter discusses the existence of real numbers λ i such that a solution x (λ, t) on 0 x ″ + x F(x, λ, t) = 0 satisfies initial conditions. The chapter presents the theorem—Let D be the set {( x , λ, t) : — ∞ x x , hypothesis fourth is satisfied.

Characteristics of Complex Problems
Many of the social challenges we care about feel like messy, wicked knots (or a pile of tangled headphones). When we pull on a thread in one place, we create new, tighter knots elsewhere. The messy nature of these challenges is due to, among other things, their complexity.

ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.
