Axiomatic Attribution for Multilinear Functions [PDF]
We study the attribution problem, that is, the problem of attributing a change in the value of a characteristic function to its independent variables. We make three contributions.

In this paper, we study the periodic Sturm-Liouville problem, defined on three non-intersecting intervals with four supplementary conditions which are imposed at two internal points of interaction, the so-calledtransmission conditions.

The construction problem for Hodge numbers modulo an integer in positive characteristic
Let k be an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic. For any integer $m\ge 2$ , we show that the Hodge numbers of a smooth projective k-variety can take on any combination of values modulo m, subject only to Serre duality.

The characteristic initial value problem for colliding plane waves: The linear case [PDF]
The physical situation of the collision and subsequent interaction of plane gravitational waves in a Minkowski background gives rise to a well-posed characteristic initial value problem in which initial data are specified on the two null characteristics ...

Problem of Description of the Characteristic Features of Discrimination in the Labor Sphere
The Constitution of Ukraine guarantees the right to labor to everyone, including the possibility to earn one’s living by labor that he or she freely chooses or to which he or she freely agrees. However, discrimination is still one of the main problems in

Finitely Many Dirac-Delta Interactions on Riemannian Manifolds [PDF]
This work is intended as an attempt to study the non-perturbative renormalization of bound state problem of finitely many Dirac-delta interactions on Riemannian manifolds, S^2, H^2 and H^3. We formulate the problem in terms of a finite dimensional matrix,

Coalition structure generation in cooperative games with compact representations [PDF]
This paper presents a new way of formalizing the coalition structure generation problem (CSG) so that we can apply constraint optimization techniques to it. Forming effective coalitions is a major research challenge in AI and multi-agent systems.

On the Euler characteristic of Kronecker moduli spaces [PDF]
Combining the MPS degeneration formula for the Poincar\'e polynomial of moduli spaces of stable quiver representations and localization theory, it turns that the determination of the Euler characteristic of these moduli spaces reduces to a combinatorial ...

Solving the characteristic initial value problem for colliding plane gravitational and electromagnetic waves [PDF]
A method is presented for solving the characteristic initial value problem for the collision and subsequent nonlinear interaction of plane gravitational or gravitational and electromagnetic waves in a Minkowski background.
