Self‐Charging Persistent Mechanoluminescence with Mechanics Storage and Visualization Activities
AbstractPersistent mechanoluminescence (ML) with long lifetime is highly required to break the limits of the transient emitting behavior under mechanics stimuli. However, the existing materials with persistent ML are completely trap‐controlled, and a pre‐irradiation is required, which severely hinders the practical applications.

Nonvolatile multilevel data storage memory device from controlled ambipolar charge trapping mechanism [PDF]
The capability of storing multi-bit information is one of the most important challenges in memory technologies. An ambipolar polymer which intrinsically has the ability to transport electrons and holes as a semiconducting layer provides an opportunity ...

A High Capacity Li-Ion Cathode: The Fe(III/VI) Super-Iron Cathode
A super-iron Li-ion cathode with a 3-fold higher reversible capacity (a storage capacity of 485 mAh/g) is presented. One of the principle constraints to vehicle electrification is that the Li-ion cathode battery chemistry is massive, and expensive ...

Charge Storage Mechanisms of Single-Layer Graphene in Ionic Liquid [PDF]
Graphene-based carbon materials are promising candidates for electrical double-layer (EDL) capacitors, and there is considerable interest in understanding the structure and properties of the graphene/electrolyte interface. Here, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) are used to characterize ...

Supercapattery: Merit merge of capacitive and Nernstian charge storage mechanisms [PDF]
Supercapattery is the generic name for hybrids of supercapacitor and rechargeable battery. Batteries store charge via Faradaic processes, involving reversible transfer of localised or zone-delocalised valence electrons. The former is governed by the Nernst equation.
