Power Efficiency in the Charge Pump
Journal of Communications Technology and Electronics, 2021The results of the analysis of the features of the power exchange process in switched capacitors are presented. The methods are outlined to ensure high efficiency of charge pumping. The features of switching processes in transient operation modes are investigated.

Efficient Charge Separation in Multidimensional Nanohybrids
Nano Letters, 2011We report unidirectional charge transfer in multidimensional nanohybrids, consisting of a quantum dot, an electronically active molecular linker, and a carbon nanotube. After covalent attachment to the nanotube, only emission consistent with the negatively charged quantum dot exciton ion rather than the neutral exciton is observed, showing nearly ...

High-Efficiency CMOS Charge Pump
2006 13th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems, 2006A charge pump topology with enhanced driving capability for very low voltage applications is presented. The proposed scheme is able to operate with a supply voltage as low as 900 mV and ensures high voltage gain, high driving capability, and high power efficiency over the whole current range.

Efficiency improvement in charge pump circuits
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1997Conventional charge pump circuits use a fixed switching frequency that leads to power efficiency degradation for loading less than the rated loading. This paper proposes a level shifter design that also functions as a frequency converter to automatically vary the switching frequency of a dual charge pump circuit according to the loading.

An efficient charge recovery logic circuit
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1996Efficient charge recovery logic (ECRL) is proposed as a candidate for low-energy adiabatic logic circuit. Power comparison with other logic circuits is performed on an inverter chain and a carry lookahead adder (CLA). ECRL CLA is designed as a pipelined structure for obtaining the same throughput as a conventional static CMOS CLA.

Efficient Assignment of Electric Vehicles to Charging Stations
IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, 2021In a large-scale integration of electric vehicles (EVs) to the transportation sector, it becomes more challenging to provide an acceptable level of service to EV users who already suffer from EV’s short range and long charging time. Because of the latter, charging facilities can be easily overloaded, leading to intolerable service delays.

Efficient charging station scheduling for an autonomous parking and charging system
Proceedings of the ninth ACM international workshop on Vehicular inter-networking, systems, and applications, 2012With the proliferation of electric vehicles, charging stations are a scarce resource that needs to be managed efficiently. In this paper, we therefore examine requirements for efficient charging station scheduling and propose several algorithms that we have implemented for the V-Charge system, which introduces new concepts for combining public and ...

Journal of Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing, 1990
In summary, fiscal awareness and involvement are critical in maintaining one's position as an ET nurse and in supporting both quality care and institutional survival. The authors challenge all ET nurses to work toward the establishment of equitable and reimbursable charging systems, and to share the knowledge gained in the process.

Particle Charging and Transmission Efficiencies of Aerosol Charge Neutralizes
Aerosol Science and Technology, 1997ABSTRACT Diffusion losses and charging efficiency were measured for three types of charge neutralizers commonly used in aerosol research: two with 85Kr and one with 210Po as radiation sources. The diffusion losses were characterized at flows of 0.5 -6 1 min−1 typically used in atmospheric aerosol physics measurements.

The Analysis of Ultracapacitor Charging Efficiency
2013 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences, 2013From the ultracapacitor theoretical charging model, the influence of charging efficiency on constant current and constant voltage charging mode is studied in the paper. According to the actual environment, the different charging modes of the ultracapacitor are tested with different current.
