Flash Assembloids: A Rapid Biofabrication of a Platform for Modeling Early Glioblastoma Invasion at the Glioblastoma–Brain Organoid Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a bioengineered assembloid (ASM) system combining glioblastoma (GBM) cells in oxidized alginate (OA) microgels with dorsal organoids (DOs). This model simulates brain tumor‐host interactions, revealing enhanced GBM invasion, altered gene expression, and aggressive infiltration patterns, demonstrating ASM as a valuable platform for ...

Thio derivatives of b-diketones and their metal chelates. XIII. Mass spectra of zinc and nickel chelates of some fluorinated monothio-b-diketones [PDF]

open access: yes, 1974
The mass spectra of the zinc(11) and nickel(11) chelates of four fluorinated monothio-β-diketones, RC(SH)=CHCOCF3 (R = Ph, p-MeC6H4, 2-thienyl, Me), have been obtained.

Bacteria‐Responsive Nanostructured Drug Delivery Systems for Targeted Antimicrobial Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bacteria‐responsive nanocarriers are designed to release antimicrobials only in the presence of infection‐specific cues. This selective activation ensures drug release precisely at the site of infection, avoiding premature or indiscriminate release, and enhancing efficacy.

The synthesis and purification of selected metal thd chelates [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
Transition metal Hthd (2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-3,5-heptanedione) chelates are well known as volatile chelates. Studies have determined that more than 30 kinds of different metal(thd) chelates can be evaporated in the middle-high temperature zone under low ...

Photocatalytic degradation of iron chelates fertilizers under UV light: a rapid evaluation for hydroponic growing systems

open access: yesChemical and Biological Technologies in Agriculture
Background Iron (Fe) deficiency in agricultural soils significantly affects crop productivity and quality. The application of synthetic Fe chelates is a common agricultural practice to address this issue, as they can maintain Fe solubility across a wide ...

Self‐Cooling Molecular Spin Qudits

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A material made of [GdEr] molecular dimers can encode a qudit and perform as a magnetic refrigerant. Microwave resonant pulses coherently manipulate its 16 spin states, while direct demagnetization measurements cool the material and a device down to temperatures below 1 K.
