DOTA‐grafted Cationic Polymers Behaving as Powerful Macromolecular Resistance‐reversal Agents (MRRAs) Combating Against New Delhi Metallo‐β‐lactamase (NDM)‐producing Bacteria

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Two macromolecular resistance‐reversal agents (MRRAs)—linear (MRRAL) and nanostructured (MRRAN) polymers were fabricated by integrating DOTA motifs into tunable polycationic scaffolds. MRRAs exhibit superior antibacterial potency once combined with meropenem (MEM) through (i) bacterial membrane disruption via localized cationic charge and ...

Mitophagy and Ubiquitination Coordinate Context‐Specific Mitochondrial Quality Control and EMT/MET Plasticity to Drive Cancer Cell Invasion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Metastatic invasion emerges when tumor‐intrinsic programs and microenvironmental forces converge on mitochondrial quality control. A context‐stratified framework links mtROS, mtDNA integrity, mechanics and nutrient/oxygen cues to fission–fusion remodeling, mtUPR and mitophagy.

Effect and mechanisms of chelating agents on pore structure variation and permeability enhancement of low permeability coal seams

open access: yesMeitan kexue jishu
China’s coal seams are characterized of low porosity and low permeability. To improve the production of coalbed methane (CBM) wells, chemical stimulation was proposed to enhance the connectivity of coal fractures and cleats by dissolving the cementing ...

Multi‐Organelle Stress‐Induced Paraptosis by a ROS‐Amplifying Nanocatalyst for Enhanced Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The engineered TF‐Fe@LC nanoplatform programs paraptotic death via multipath ROS amplification that disrupts redox homeostasis, provoking mitochondrial dysfunction, autophagic blockade, and ER stress. This caspase‐independent process elicits robust immunogenic cell death, combining with αPD‐L1 to activate systemic CD8+ T‐cell immunity and suppress ...

AML‐Targeted Metal‐Polyphenol Nanoplatform Induces Ferroptosis‐ICD Cascade for Antitumor Immunity Boosting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustration of the synthesis protocol for Fe‐SH@Fn, an AML‐targeted nanoplatform engineered to co‐deliver shikonin (SH) and Fe3+, synergistically boosting antitumor immunity via ferroptosis induction and immunogenic cell death (ICD). ABSTRACT Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) remains a therapeutic challenge due to its low immunogenicity and ...

The Legacy of AAZTA—Synthesis and Coordination Chemistry of Two AAZTA Structural Analogs

open access: yesInorganics
AAZTA (6-amino-6-methylperhydro-1,4-diazepinetetraacetic acid) is a mesocyclic chelating agent forming stable complexes with several metal ions. Over the past 20 years since its inception, AAZTA and its bifunctional derivatives have gained a growing role

Asymmetric Cu─N─Ru Bridgedsite Nanozyme‐Loaded Injectable Thermogel Boosts Cuproptosis‐Like Death for Multidrug‐Resistant Urinary Tract Infections

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To address multidrug‐resistant urinary tract infections (MDR‐UTIs), we developed Cu‐ZIF8‐Ru nanozyme featuring an asymmetric Cu─N─Ru catalytic site. This unique structure enhances multienzyme‐mimetic activity, eradicating resistant bacteria by inducing a cuproptosis‐like death pathway through intracellular Cu2+ accumulation and energy depletion.
