Langerhans cells and NK cells cooperate in the inhibition of chemical skin carcinogenesis
Tissue immunosurveillance is an important mechanism to prevent cancer. Skin treatment with the carcinogen 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene (DMBA), followed by the tumor promoter 12-O-tetra-decanoyl-phorbol-13-acetate (TPA), is an established murine model ...

Hyaluronic acid‐modified bimetallic peroxide nanocomposites (MgO2‐CuO2@HA) are designed for synergistic tumor therapy. The nanocomposites release Mg2+, H2O2, and Cu2+ in tumor cells, induce cuproptosis via Cu+‐mediated protein aggregation, and activate pyroptosis through caspase‐1/gasdermin D pathways for inducing immunogenic cell death, collectively ...

Tumor evolution in lung adenocarcinoma is shaped by genetic alterations and spatial immune dynamics. By integrating whole‐exome sequencing, imaging mass cytometry, and spatial transcriptomics across two mouse models, this study reveals how mutational burden, immune infiltration, and cell–state interactions evolve during early and late carcinogenesis ...

The first artificial cancer in the internal organs of experimental animals
In the world history of cancer research, three achievements in Japan were groundbreaking. First, in 1915, Katsusaburo Yamagiwa and Koichi Ichikawa induced skin cancer on the ears of rabbits by the repeated application of coal tar.

Phospholipid transfer protein(PLTP) plays a critical role in forming a complex with kinase A (AURKA) and P65. This interaction facilitates phosphorylation of P65 at Ser536, leading to the activation of the NF‐κB signaling pathway. Ultimately, this leads to the upregulation of downstream cytokines, including IL‐6, IL‐8, and CSF‐1, which promotes M2 ...

Upregulated TRMT6 forms aberrant hypermethylation of a specific tRNA pool and serves as a predictor of poor prognosis in TNBC. This m1A modification in tRNAs enhances translation of FTH1 and FTL, reducing the pool of bioavailable Fe2⁺. Reduced Fe2+ availability impairs RSL3‐induced lipid peroxidation and tumor progression.
