Fractal-fractional Brusselator chemical reaction
Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2021Abstract In this paper, we replace the classical differential operators with the fractal-fractional differential operators corresponding to the power law, exponential decay, and the generalized Mittag-Leffler kernels. These operators have two parameters created: the first is a fractal dimension and the second is a fractional order.

Isotopic fractionation – chemical v. environmental perspective
Environmental Chemistry, 2012In recent years, we have witnessed an enormous increase in applications of quantitative isotopic measurements that have contributed to solving problems related to chemical pollution. Some fundamental concepts have been laid out in an excellent introduction on this developing technique.

Critical Aspects of Sedimentary Phosphorus Chemical Fractionation
Journal of Environmental Quality, 1994AbstractSequential leaching procedures have been widely used as an environmental tool to quantify sedimentary P reservoirs. Nevertheless, they still present important issues that need to be investigated such as readsorption of leached ions and organic P hydrolysis.

Chemical fractionation of uranium isotopes
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1969Abstract Precise measurements were made of the chemical fractionation of uranium-235 and uranium-238 between several forms of U(IV) and U(VI) salts. The observed separation factors were very much smaller than previously supposed. It is shown that the chemical exchange method of isotope separation is unlikely to be economically or technically useful.

Chemical Fractionation of Phosphorus in Stabilized Biosolids
Journal of Environmental Quality, 2008Three chemicals—ferrous sulfate (FeSul), calcium oxide (CaO), and aluminum sulfate (alum)—were applied at different rates to stabilize P in fresh, anaerobically digested biosolids (FBS) obtained from an activated sewage treatment plant. A modified Hedley fractionation procedure was used to assess P forms in these sludge‐borne materials and in a ...

Fractionation and chemical properties of tear mucoids
Experimental Eye Research, 1971Abstract The physical and chemical properties of glycoproteins in the precorneal tear film that covers the corneal epithelium have never been clearly delineated. Crude mucoid clots were collected from the conjunctival surface of rabbits. Three types of glycoprotein were fractionated by gel filtration on Sephadex G-150 using tear mucoid.
