Thermal Black‐Infused Polyurethane Rigid Foams: Novel Formulations Toward Higher‐Performance and More Sustainable Insulation

open access: yesJournal of Applied Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Thermal black improves polyurethane foam structure and stability. It helps the foam rise smoothly while promoting the formation of smaller, more uniform cells. The foam keeps its strength and insulation performance while reducing shrinkage. Its clean production and easy processing make it a sustainable, cost‐effective option for high‐performance ...

Uniform Sb2S3 optical coatings by chemical spray method

open access: yesBeilstein Journal of Nanotechnology, 2019
Antimony sulfide (Sb2S3), an environmentally benign material, has been prepared by various deposition methods for use as a solar absorber due to its direct band gap of ≈1.7 eV and high absorption coefficient in the visible light spectrum (1.8 × 105 cm−1 ...

Aluminum Doped ZnO Thin Films Using Chemical Spray Pyrolysis

open access: yesOALib, 2015
Aluminum doped ZnO thin films were grown using chemical spray pyrolysis. The doped films showed only blue and UV photoluminescence at room temperature. The position of the near band edge emission was found to agree with the theoretical value of ZnO nanocrystal band gap.

Electrochemical Design of Atomically Conformal Ga2O3 Buffer Layers via Cu2O‐Catalyzed Nitrate Reduction Reaction for Efficient Cu2O Photocathodes

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Cu2O catalyzes nitrate reduction to locally generate OH− at the electrode surface, enabling the first uniform electrochemical deposition of Ga2O3. The Cu2O/Ga2O3‐based photocathodes achieve onset potentials above 1 VRHE, 3.8% solar‐to‐hydrogen efficiency, and stable operation for over 60 h in all‐inorganic tandem PEC devices.
