Chemical structure of light chains
Proceedings of the Royal Society of London. Series B. Biological Sciences, 1966The light chains of immunoglobulins are a heterogeneous population of peptide chains. Two general types can be recognized immunologically and chemically, the λ and the K light chains. But within the two types further heterogeneity has been demonstrated. A minor heterogeneity observed in the K

The wave structure of the electron lends itself to the formulation of chemical phenomena in terms of number theory. Without a particle concept the behaviour of elementary units of matter, in the form of solitons, is described directly in the wave formalism originally proposed by Schrodinger and Madelung in hydrodynamic analogy.
