Photobiomodulation and Radio‐Epithelitis in Anal Carcinoma: A Case‐Report and Clinical Reflection on Emerging Preventive and Supportive Care Modalities

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Radio‐induced dermatitis, a frequent adverse effect of radiation therapy, is particularly prevalent in patients treated for anal margin carcinoma. It may present with varying severity, causing significant pain and impairment of daily mobility, influenced by both patient‐related factors and treatment regimens.

Minimal residual disease in solid tumors: Clinical applications and future directions

open access: yesCancer, Volume 132, Issue 3, 1 February 2026.
Abstract Minimal residual disease (MRD) refers to the presence of residual cancer cells or tumor‐derived fragments that persist after treatment and remain undetectable by conventional imaging or protein‐based assays. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) has emerged as a dynamic biomarker for MRD detection.

Single‐cell sequencing for cancer precision medicine: From mechanism discovery to diagnosis and therapeutics

open access: yesClinical and Translational Discovery, Volume 6, Issue 1, February 2026.
Single‐cell sequencing overcomes bulk sequencing limitations, enabling high‐resolution multi‐omics analysis at the single‐cell level. It reveals tumour heterogeneity, identifying key subpopulations and tumour microenvironment interactions driving progression and resistance.
