Level-rank duality in Chern–Simons theory from a non-supersymmetric brane configuration
We derive level-rank duality in pure Chern–Simons gauge theories from a non-supersymmetric Seiberg duality by using a non-supersymmetric brane configuration in type IIB string theory. The brane configuration consists of fivebranes, N D3 antibranes and an

PERTURBATIVE CHERN-SIMONS THEORY [PDF]
We present the perturbation theory of the Chern-Simons gauge field theory and prove that to second order it indeed gives knot invariants. We identify these invariants and show that in fact we get a previously unknown integral formula for the Arf invariant of a knot, in complete agreement with earlier non-perturbative results of Witten.

GAUGE DEPENDENCE IN CHERN–SIMONS THEORY [PDF]
We compute the contribution to the modulus of the one-loop effective action in pure non-Abelian Chern–Simons theory in an arbitrary covariant gauge. We find that the results are dependent on both the gauge parameter (α) and the metric required in the gauge fixing.

Embedding three-dimensional bosonization dualities into string theory
We give simple string theory embeddings of several recently introduced dualities between 2+1-dimensional Chern-Simons matter theories using probe brane holography.

New T-duality for Chern-Simons theory
It has recently pointed out that a four-dimensional analog of Chern-Simons theory provides an elegant framework for understanding integrable models with spectral parameters.

Chern-Simons-Trinion theories: One-form symmetries and superconformal indices
We study 3d theories containing N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 3 Chern-Simons vector multiplets coupled to the SU(N)3 flavour symmetry of 3d T N theories with Chern-Simons levels k 1, k 2 and k 3.

Chern–Simons extension of ESK theory [PDF]
The commonly-known Chern-Simons extension of Einstein gravitational theory is written in terms of a square-curvature term added to the linear-curvature Hilbert Lagrangian. In a recent paper, we constructed two Chern-Simons extensions according to whether they consisted of a square-curvature term added to the square-curvature Stelle Lagrangian or of one

Supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory as higher Chern-Simons theory
We observe that the string field theory actions for the topological sigma models describe higher or categorified Chern-Simons theories. These theories yield dynamical equations for connective structures on higher principal bundles.

Chern–Simons-Like Gravity Theories [PDF]
A wide class of three-dimensional gravity models can be put into "Chern-Simons-like" form. We perform a Hamiltonian analysis of the general model and then specialise to Einstein-Cartan Gravity, General Massive Gravity, the recently proposed Zwei-Dreibein Gravity and a further parity violating generalisation combining the latter two.
